Las Perlitas means “Little Pearls” : This is a super clean Geisha, a stunning cup with fine notes of jasmin flower and yellow fruits, especially peach and bergamot. A structured and juicy coffee, with silky body and citric acidity.
Las Perlitas project sources Huila micro-lot coffees of very small volumes, that wouldn’t be exported by the producers on their own. Las Perlitas, Huila are rare pearls with fruity and complex profiles which stand out.
Gesha (also known as Geisha) is known for its exceptional cup quality, especially when grown at high altitudes. The variety comes from Ethiopian landrace coffees and was collected from Ethiopian coffee forests in the 1930s. The name supposedly derives from Ethiopia’s Gori Gesha forest.
